Washington introduces new restrictions on coronavirus

In the US capital, restrictions have been tightened due to the increase in the incidence of coronavirus and more stringent anti-epidemic protocols have been introduced.

Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser has banned gatherings of people in premises of more than 10 people. It will specifically affect Thanksgiving dinners as it goes into effect on Wednesday. Groups of more than 25 people are prohibited from gathering on the streets.

Bowser’s orders also banned live entertainment and indoor training.

The number of people who can gather in meetinghouses has been reduced from 100 to 50.

Restaurants must close no later than midnight and stop serving alcohol after 10 pm.
