Vitali Klitschko contracted coronavirus

BOXING

Former world heavyweight champion, and now the mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko added disappointing statistics of patients with coronavirus. He announced this on his Instagram page.

According to Klitschko, he regularly tested for COVID-19, and the last one tested positive.

“Friends! The coronavirus crept up at the most inconvenient moment. Today I tested positive.

Working as a mayor during a pandemic, of course, involves constant risk. Communicating with people, checking hospitals. In particular, he regularly visited the infectious diseases wards, where patients with COVID-19 are treated.

Tried to beware. Taking into account the specifics of the work, I regularly did tests. Unfortunately, today’s one is disappointing. I feel good. But I must go to self-isolation. I will work from home.

Please do not disregard the rules and do not ignore the threat! Take care of yourself “, – wrote Vitali Klitschko.
