Vasily Lomachenko: “I don’t want fame, I just want to be the best in boxing”

WBA, WBO and WBC Franchise lightweight champion Vasily Lomachenko said he does not want to be famous, but just wants to gain recognition in boxing. According to the Ukrainian boxer, who will have a unification fight with IBF champion Teofimo Lopez on October 17, he is determined to achieve success, whatever the cost.

“Sometimes I have different workouts. Sometimes they are easy. I think this is my father’s job. He arranged a very good and competent training process for me.

I’m 100 percent preparing. It’s not my job to talk about who’s the best. I don’t want fame, I just want to be the best in boxing. I want to be who I am. I must achieve success at any cost, “said Vasily Lomachenko in a video posted on the YouTube channel of the Venum sports equipment brand.

Recall that Lomachenko also spoke about his goals at different stages of his career.
