Vasily Lomachenko: “After the fight with Lopez, I will forget about their family”

The WBA, WBO and WBC Franchise lightweight champion of the world Vasily Lomachenko claims that, despite all the attempts of the owner of the IBF belt Teofimo Lopez and his father to present the upcoming fight as a confrontation of implacable enemies, he does not consider this fight to be of principle. According to Lomachenko, after the fight he will immediately forget about Lopez.

“For me, this fight is absolutely not fundamental. This is their life, their thinking, their thoughts. I don’t care. After this fight, I will forget about their family. I didn’t want to have a battle of views with Lopez after the press conference? This is the first time I’ve heard about it.”

The difference between us is that we have gone through different schools of boxing, we have different styles. We can check which style is better.

I never thought about respecting opponents as fighters. Lopez is a good boxer, IBF champion. Of course, I respect Lopez, because he is the world champion, and on Saturday he will bring my red belt, “Vasily Lomachenko said in an interview with Morning Kombat YouTube channel.
