The New York Times published an extensive review of Barack Obama’s book. The reviewer pays special attention to the people described by the author, calling these biographical sketches “masterful in their brevity, insight and humor.” In particular, Obama spoke about the Russian President as follows: “Vladimir Putin resembles the tough street bosses who used to run the Chicago mafia.”

However, the following description of Putin became viral: “Physically, he was unremarkable.”
“I prepared to read all 700-plus pages of this book, based on just this monosyllabic description,” responded to this characterization Matty Kahn, director of culture for the American magazine Glamor. His willingness is shared by many thousands of other commentators on the American segment of social networks, where the book is already available for pre-order at a price of $ 45.
