Tyson Fury promoter: “If Wilder’s water was poisoned, then why didn’t his doping test show anything?”

Frank Warren, co-promoter of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, has been stunned by the recent announcements made by Deontay Wilder.

Recall that last week, Wilder finally broke his long silence, accusing Fury of cheating with gloves, and also putting forward a conspiracy theory that his already former coach Mark Brieland tried on the role of a double agent, deliberately poisoning the water, which he then gave Wilder to drink between rounds in rematch with Tyson Fury.

Warren denies all of Wilder’s accusations, arguing:

“Deontay Wilder said that something was mixed into his water when he fought Tyson Fury. But I think that maybe if his drink was poisoned, they did it quite recently, given what he was into Wilder must be on drugs right now, considering the whole ton of excuses he made earlier, “Warren told The Daily Star.

“Gloves, a treacherous trainer and poisoned water … If there really was something in his water, then why did his doping test, which he passed right after the fight, showed nothing? I think the American is a pretty nice guy and really good fighter, so I’m sorry to see him do all this. As for us, we keep moving with Fury and hope to have a fight with Agit Kabayel on December 5th. “
