Trump speaks on the phone with the Crown Prince of the UAE

US President Donald Trump spoke by phone with the Crown Prince of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Sunday, the White House said.

The report noted that Trump thanked the Crown Prince for the good wishes to the President and First Lady conveyed when they were diagnosed with COVID-19.

The leaders of the two countries discussed the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and ways to strengthen regional security and economic growth through public-private partnerships.

President Trump thanked the Crown Prince for his leadership in signing the Abraham Covenant with Israel.

“President Trump has called on the Crown Prince to seize this opportunity to urge leaders in other countries in the Middle East to follow the same path of promoting peace and prosperity in the region,” the White House said in a statement.
