Tony Bellew: “Anthony Joshua is much better than Wilder”

Former world cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew strongly disagrees with WBC heavyweight title holder Tyson Fury, who claims Deontay Wilder is superior to Anthony Joshua.

“Fury is talking nonsense when he says that there is only him and Wilder, and everyone else is on a different level. Let’s be clear: Wilder looked hopeless in a fight against Luis Ortiz, who is about 95 years old.

Fury’s words are ridiculous, because we all know that Wilder has only one trick. Don’t get me wrong, this is a damn cool trick. If he uses it, then the opponent will be in the ambulance. But Anthony Joshua is definitely much better than Deontay Wilder. He is better at everything he does.

Wilder surpasses all these fighters in only one parameter – one-hit power. But there is no point in possessing this power if you lack the skills to deliver the blow. Wilder definitely doesn’t have them. This is Tyson’s bravado, “Tony Bellew told talkSPORT.
