Tomography of Biden’s leg showed cracks in the bones

Computed tomography, which President-elect Joe Biden performed after a sprained leg, showed cracks in the bones.

This was announced by his attending physician Kevin O’Connor.

Biden slipped and sprained his ankle while playing with the dog on Saturday, according to a statement from his office.

At first, the X-ray showed no fractures, the doctor said. “Subsequent computed tomography confirmed microfractures in the lateral and middle sphenoid bones,” O’Connor said.

He added that Biden will most likely have to walk in a special boot for several weeks.
