The actor is preparing a surprise for fans in honor of the 19th anniversary of the release of the first film.
Tom Felton continues to reap the benefits of his involvement with the Harry Potter series. The actor has formed a huge army of fans of his character, Draco Malfoy, and he willingly pushes their interest.
In a new interview with ET-Online, Tom talked about the hashtag #DracoTok, which is gaining popularity on social media. Fans continue to talk about the character and also make various videos of Draco.
It already lives its own life. It’s a lot of fun: if you follow the DracoTok hashtag, you will see a lot of videos that people make. They just take what I once did, put it out in a new way and spin it up. And then I see and unwind what they did. It is like a separate monster with a life of its own. But I really, really love it. And I will try to keep the DracoTalkers happy
– shared Tom.
He noted that he is very pleased that his character Draco is still so recognizable, despite the fact that he was “not the most popular hero” in the films.
I’m very flattered. Draco is cool. He is very multi-layered, he is not understood, but still he is a bit of a bastard. He needs hugs. I think he needs a little affection
– said Felton.
The actor decided not to ignore the 19th anniversary of the release of the first Harry Potter film, which will take place on November 14. He said he “has a little something for fans,” and hinted at reuniting with the other cast of the film.
Recently I saw the Weasley twins and we played golf together. I am constantly in touch with the rest of the guys on WhatsApp. For the 19th anniversary of the film, I have planned something like a digital celebration. Therefore, now I am collecting all our oldies to make the holiday a success,
– shared Tom.
