“We watched TV last night and there were helicopters, protests and arrests in the West Village where we live. I notice that now every morning, when we go for a walk with the dogs, tension is in the air, ”Deborra admitted.

When asked if the couple would like to move to Australia, Jackman’s homeland, Furness readily replied that they hoped to go there as soon as possible. This is not possible yet, because the country’s borders are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sources previously said Hugh and Deborra are considering moving permanently to Bondi Beach, Sydney, where they own a $ 6 million home. However, then insiders said that plans were hampered, firstly, by Jackman’s active career in Hollywood, and secondly, by the fact that the family likes the spirit of New York, the pace and excitement of the city, which is different from the relaxed life on the coast.

The couple are raising two children – 19-year-old Oscar and 14-year-old Ava.
