Taras Shelestyuk: “It’s not a secret for anyone that Lomachenko and I are not friends”

Ukrainian welterweight Taras Shelestyuk does not hide the fact that he did not have the warmest relations with his former colleague on the Ukrainian amateur national team Vasily Lomachenko. Despite the fact that Shelestyuk sometimes criticizes Loma, he supported his compatriot before the fight with Teofimo Lopez.

Under Shelestyuk’s Instagram post about the Lomachenko-Lopez fight, one of the subscribers asked why the boxer dislikes Lomachenko. In response, Shelestyuk said that he was only telling the truth, and stressed that some of his statements were taken out of context.

“I show people the truth, otherwise many have cut the video, and it seems that Vasya is a monster. He is an ordinary person who strives for his dreams and goals.

It’s no secret that we are not friends. But I always support our athletes and wish them victory! “- wrote Taras Shelestyuk.
