Information appeared on the network that LG will postpone the release of flagship smartphones based on Qualcomm processor Snapdragon 875.

This was announced by a source from Hong Kong. According to him, LG has not placed an order for the new top-end Qualcomm chip. Instead, the Korean manufacturer pre-ordered a simpler SoC Snapdragon 775G. Most likely, while the company will focus on devices in the middle price segment. Therefore, it is not worth waiting for the successor to the LG G8X ThinQ in the first half of 2021.

As a reminder, the Snapdragon 875 chip is set to debut at the Tech Summit on December 1-2. According to rumors, it will be built on a 5-nanometer process technology and will receive two versions. The novelty should work on cores Kryo 685.
