At the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, the boxing show ended, the main event of which was the fight for the title of interim IBF world welterweight champion between Sergei Lipinets and Castio Clayton.
The boxers began the fight with reconnaissance, harassing each other with jabs. Soon Lipinets seized the initiative, and Clayton began to act on counterattacks, periodically throwing his right through his hand.
In the fourth round, the Canadian boxer painfully punched the Russian’s body several times. Closer to the middle of the battle, Lipinets increased his pace, forcing his opponent to retreat. However, he did not have a clear advantage.

The fight went the entire distance and turned out to be difficult to count. As a result, the judges made a draw.
