Samsung Galaxy F62: AMOLED display, Galaxy Note 10 chip, 64MP quad camera, 7000 mAh battery and $ 330 price tag

Samsung, as promised, announced today its second smartphone of the Galaxy F series with good specs and a nice price tag.

What is known

The novelty was named Galaxy F62. The device received a large 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a hole in the center for a 32 MP front camera. The panel has FHD + resolution, aspect ratio 20: 9, 420 nits maximum brightness and 1,000,000: 1 contrast ratio. The scanning frequency of the screen is 60 Hz.

The main feature of a smartphone is hardware. The fact is that the device runs on a 7-nanometer Exynos 9825 processor. The same chip is installed in the flagship Galaxy Note 10, which was released in 2019. The SoC comes paired with 6/8 GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB UFS 2.1 storage. The novelty is powered by a 7000 mAh battery. It charges via the USB-C port using a 25 watt power adapter. The main camera in the Galaxy F62 with four sensors. 64MP main sensor. It is complemented by a 12 MP shirik, a 5 MP macromodule and the same depth sensor.

The new product has a slot for two SIM and microSD, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, side scanner, headphone jack and NFC. The smartphone works out of the box on Android 11. On top of it, a fresh One UI 3.1 shell is installed.

Price and when to wait

Galaxy F62 sales start in India on February 22 with a price tag of $ 330. Whether the new product will be sold in other regions is not yet clear.
