Referee’s notes of the fight Jermall Charlo – Sergey Derevyanchenko

A few hours ago, at the Mohegan Sun arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, a large boxing event from the PBC promotion company and Showtime TV ended, in which WBC middleweight champion Jermall Charlo successfully defended against Ukrainian Sergey Derevyanchenko. Following the results of the 12-round confrontation, the American defeated his opponent by unanimous decision (118-110, 117-111, 116-112).

As evidenced by the referee’s notes of this fight, in the first half Charlo confidently controlled the course of events. All the judges gave him the first five rounds. Derevyanchenko recorded the sixth three-minute, after which three rounds again went unanimously to Charlo.

At the end of the fight, the judges saw a different picture, but it should be noted that the last three rounds went to the Ukrainian. In each of them, two judges took the side of Derevyanchenko.
