Prince William compared the eldest son of Prince George to the “animal in a cage”


In the context of an upcoming documentary on nature, Duke spoke about his children’s passion.

The 38-year-old Duke of Cambridge talked about his kids’ love of nature while filming the upcoming ITV documentary Prince William: A Planet For Us All. William, along with his wife Kate Middleton, is raising three children: five-year-old Princess Charlotte, two-year-old Prince Louis and seven-year-old Prince George.

Speaking about how his own children’s passion for nature prompted him to do more to protect the planet, William noted:

I look at my children, I see the passion in their eyes and the love of being outdoors. They love to watch insects, bees when they make honey.

William said that his eldest son, George, especially loathes life locked up.

If he cannot go outside, he behaves like a caged animal. He needs to be outdoors,

In the documentary, William talks about his love for nature, which began in his distant childhood, when he explored the vicinity of his home in Anmer Hall in Norfolk. Now, he says, a fascination with wildlife is evident in all three of his children, who love to explore the places around the Sandringham estate.
