The social network Parler is suing Amazon after it disconnected it from its Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosting.
Calling the robbery of the platform a “fatal blow”, Parler accused Amazon of violating antitrust laws and a bilateral contract, as well as interfering with the company’s business relationships with its customers.
In particular, the plaintiff company complained that Amazon did not notify Parler 30 days before disconnecting it from its servers.
Parler has asked a federal court to issue a temporary restraining order against Amazon.
Conservative-popular social networking site Parler went offline on Monday after Amazon suspended its operations, saying it allowed posting encouraging violence.
