OnePlus Nord gets first test build of OxygenOS with Android 11 on board

OnePlus, as promised, has released the first test build of OxygenOS with Android 11 on board for the OnePlus Nord smartphone.

What is known

The update came out with the number OxygenOS Open Beta 1. It weighs about 3 GB. The firmware received all the main innovations of this version of the “green robot”, as well as the proprietary OxygenOS shell with many changes. For example, developers updated the interface, which is now optimized for one-handed operation. By the way, it is similar to One UI in Samsung smartphones.

The software also includes updated application icons, Always-on display mode with different clock widgets and Canvas function, two new fonts, animation, branded applications, Zen Mode 2.0 with three themes and the ability to invite friends or family to digital detoxification together, and much more …

When to expect

The firmware has already begun to be distributed over the air to all participants in the OxygenOS beta testing program. If you don’t have the update yet, you can download it through the Oxygen Updater app.
