Officially: Zaur Abdullaev will meet with Roman Andreev on November 7

RCC Boxing Promotions announced last week a boxing evening to be held on November 7 at the RCC Martial Arts Academy in Yekaterinburg, Russia.

In the main fight, ex-contender for the “interim” WBC lightweight title (up to 61.2 kg), 26-year-old Russian Zaur Abdullaev (12-1-0, 8 KO) will face 34-year-old undefeated compatriot Roman Andreev (23-0 -0, 16 KO), the duel is designed for ten rounds.

Abdullaev, 7th in the WBC rating, 10th – IBF and 15th – WBO, in August knocked out countryman Pavel Malikov in the 7th round (16-2-1, 6 KO), closing the only defeat to top American Davin Haney (24-0-0, 15 KO).

Andreev, 12th in the WBO rating and 14th in the IBF, has not played since May last year, when he outboxed an unknown Colombian Jesús Cuadro (18-7-0, 11 KO) in ten rounds.
