Recently, there have been rumors on the net that the flagship Honor V40 smartphones will be powered by the Kirin 9000 processor, but it seems that this is not the case.
What is known
According to an insider Teme, Huawei has decided not to share its top-end solution with Honor, as the brand has become independent and is no longer part of the company’s business. In this regard, the flagship smartphones of the line V40 will receive a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor. This is a 7nm chipset. It has a 5G modem as well as four high-performance Cortex-A77 cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.6 GHz and four energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores with a clock speed of 2.0 GHz.
Honor will skip K9000 on V40 series because there is no enough chips and because they no longer do business with Huawei, so D1000+ will be all models. pic.twitter.com/oByCuUisZX
