NASA Signs Agreement to Shoot First Reality Show in Space
SPACE

NASA officials have confirmed they have signed documents to begin preparations for what will be “the first-ever reality TV show to take place outside of Earth.” The likely site is the ISS, but this does not mean that crowds of applicants will soon go there. On the contrary, permits for the flight itself and filming have not yet been issued, while only the discussion stage is underway.

The future show was given the uncomplicated name “Space Hero”, its script is unknown, the number of participants has not been announced, and no details have been disclosed at all. Perhaps because it is not yet clear what exactly from the producers’ ideas NASA will agree to. It is assumed that the show will be held in two stages – a large-scale casting for the right to fly to the ISS and the journey itself.

One of the important elements of the show is a 24/7 interactive live broadcast of what is happening without breaks and weekends. Perhaps there will be several flights, they will begin no earlier than 2023. Who and on what conditions will bring the participants of the show to the ISS is not yet decided.NASA Signs Agreement to Shoot First Reality Show in Space
