Former World First Heavyweight Champion Murat Gassiev continues to diligently prepare for his long-awaited return to the ring.
Recall that Gassiev spent his last fight in July 2018, losing by a judge’s decision to Ukrainian boxer Alexander Usik.
Already on October 31 in Sochi, the Russian will have to fight his debut fight in the heavyweight division against 41-year-old boxing veteran Kevin Johnson, who in the past challenged the world title with Vitali Klitschko.
On the eve of the fight, Gassiev decided to share with the fans a video of his training, which is currently taking place in Kislovodsk.
“We are continuing our training in Kislovodsk,” Gassiev wrote on Instagram.
