Australian middleweight Michael Zerafa’s team (27-4-0, 16 KO) has confirmed the news that they have received a fight offer from title challenger Tim Tszyu (16-0-0, 12 KO).
Tszyu’s representatives went to Zerafa with the idea of a fight at the end of the year, but the money did not suit the fighter.
“Tim Tszyu proved by beating Jeff Horn that he is a world-class fighter. Thanks to Matt Rose for organizing such a large-scale event. But, unfortunately, the offer he made is far from what you can earn for a fight at the stadium,” Zerafa’s manager Sam Labruna.
In August, Tszyu won the biggest victory of his career, stopping ahead of schedule in the 8th round of ex-welterweight champion (up to 66.7 kg), compatriot Jeff Horn (20-3-1, 13 KO).
