LG announced today in its homeland in South Korea a new Q-series smartphone – the LG Q52.

What is known

The device is the successor to the LG Q51… It received a plastic case with protection against impacts according to the military standard MIL-STD-810G and dimensions of 160 × 76.7 × 8.4 mm. The smartphone is equipped with an IPS LCD display with a diagonal of 6.6 inches, HD + resolution and a notch for a 13 megapixel selfie camera.

At the heart of the device is the eight-core MediaTek Helio P35 platform, which operates at a maximum frequency of 2.3 GHz. The new product has 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of built-in memory. The drive can be expanded with a microSD card. The device also received a 4000 mAh battery, a side fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, a USB-C port and a headphone jack. Out of the box, the device has Android 10 OS and, of course, a proprietary shell.

Price and when to wait

The LG Q52 has already gone on sale in South Korea for $ 299. This is a lot considering the specifications of the new item. It is not known whether the device will be released in other countries.
