The holder of the WBA Gold belt in the second middleweight champion Fedor Chudinov plans to hold his next performance in January or February 2021, as announced by the coach of the Russian athlete Vitaly Slanov.
“The second half of January – early February would be the ideal time. We gave him a month to rest after a tough battle. Now we need to return in stages,” Slanov said in an interview with the TASS news agency.
We will remind, on September 11, Fedor Chudinov won an early victory over the British Umar Sadik, knocking out his opponent in the 12th round. Immediately after the end of the fight, the boxer from Great Britain was hospitalized, but a few days later Sadik was discharged from the hospital and then successfully returned home.
In total, the 33-year-old Chudinov’s track record includes 23 wins (16 by knockout) and two defeats. In 2015-2016, he held the WBA world title and had one successful defense.
