iQOO 7: 6.62-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 888 chip, 120W fast charging and $ 586 price tag


Vivo yesterday introduced not only the budget Y31s based on the 5G Snapdragon 480 chip, but also its new flagship smartphone under brand iQOO.

New product named iQOO 7. The device has become the cheapest device on the market, which is equipped with a top-end processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. The chip comes paired with 8/12 GB of RAM, 128/256 GB storage and a cooling system. The device is also equipped with a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with small curves, a frequency of 120 Hz and a hole in the center for a 16 MP front camera. The main camera, in turn, has three sensors. The main sensor received a resolution of 48 MP. It is complemented by a 13MP wide-angle lens and a 13MP portrait camera with 2x optical zoom support.

IQOO 7 is running under the Android 11 operating system, on top of which a new proprietary shell is installed OriginOS. Of the interesting things in the smartphone, it is also worth noting stereo speakers with Hi-Fi audio, the CS43131 audio chip, and 120W fast charging. It is capable of charging a 4000 mAh battery to 100% in just 15 minutes. The process takes place through the USB-C port.

Price and when to wait

iQOO 7 will start selling in China on January 15th in three colors: Black, Latent Blue and Legendary BMW Edition. For the basic version of the 8/128 GB smartphone, they will ask for $ 586, and for the top 12/256 GB – $ 648.
