Insider: OnePlus 8T will receive a quad camera with a 48MP Sony IMX586 main sensor and OIS support

Before the presentation of the OnePlus 8T smartphone, there are only a few days left and new details about the device continue to appear on the network.

What is it this time

This time, an Indian insider shared the detailed camera specifications of the smartphone. As expected earlier, the device will be equipped with four sensors. The main sensor is a 48 megapixel Sony IMX586. He will receive an aperture of f / 1.8 and will support electronic (ICE) and optical (OIS) stabilization. By the way, the same sensor is installed in the OnePlus 8 Pro, but there it acts as an additional ultra-wide sensor.

Yet OnePlus 8T will be equipped with a 16 megapixel wide with f / 2.2 and a viewing angle of 116 degrees, a 5-megapixel macro sensor with f / 2.4 and a 2 megapixel depth sensor with f / 2.4. The front camera in the new product will be 16 megapixels. It will be installed in the hole of the screen.

Recall that OnePlus 8T is also credited with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a frequency of 120 Hz, a top-end Snapdragon 865 or Snapdragon 865+ chipset, up to 12 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of ROM and a 4500 mAh battery with fast charging Warp Charge 65. The smartphone will be delivered with the new proprietary shell OxygenOS 11, which is based on Android 11.

If you believe the rumors, in Europe they will ask for about 800-900 euros for the device. By the way, besides the OnePlus 8T, several more new devices will be shown at the presentation. One of them will be the inexpensive OnePlus Buds Z TWS headphones.
