According to The Athletic journalist Mike Coppinger, American welterweight prospect (up to 66.7 kg) Jaron Ennis (26-0-0, 24 KO), who, as it became known, will return to the ring on December 12, will face the ex-challenger for the title in the light welterweight (up to 63.5 kg), Puerto Rican Thomas Dulorme (25-4-1, 16 KO).
“Sources: Jaron Ennis and Thomas Dulorme have reached an agreement on the 12th Showtime fight on the undercard of Nonito Donaire and Nordin Ubaali. Best contender for Ennis and a good move for his career,” Coppinger wrote on Twitter.
Dulorme in August, in the fight for the “interim” WBA title, lost on points to the American Jamal James (27-1-0, 12 KO).
