A few weeks ago, Motorola released the Edge S, the first smartphone on the market with the Snapdragon 870 chip on board. Now there is information that several more devices with this SoC are on the way.
What is known
This was told by the Chinese insider Digital Chat Station, which is famous for its reliable leaks. According to him, this quarter should be expected at least 5 smartphones with a new SoC. It is not known what kind of devices we are talking about. We can only assume that these will be OPPO, OnePlus, iQOO, Redmi and Realme devices.

By the way, smartphones will share more than one platform. All new items will receive adaptive OLED panels with curved edges and holes for one front camera. In addition, the devices will have a main camera with a main sensor at 108 MP and fast charging with a power of about 65 watts.
As a reminder, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip is an overclocked version of last year’s flagship Snapdragon 865 Plus processor. It has a high-performance Kryo 585 core with a maximum clock speed of 3.2 GHz (versus 2.84 GHz in the 865 and 3.1 GHz in the 865 Plus), an Adreno 650 graphics accelerator, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and an integrated 5G Snapdragon X55 modem.
