Huawei unveils new version of Nova 7 SE 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 800U chip for $ 342


Huawei has quietly announced in China a new model of the Nova 7 SE 5G smartphone.

What is known

The device received the Vitality Edition prefix in the name and the MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor, instead of the proprietary chip Kirin 820. The new SoC is built on the 7nm TSMC FinFET process technology. It has a built-in 5G modem and eight cores: two ARM Cortex-A76 cores with a maximum frequency of 2.4 GHz and six ARM Cortex-A76 cores with a frequency of 2.0 GHz. By the way, the same chipset is used by the Realme Q2 and Realme Q2 Pro smartphones, which recently debuted in China.
