Huawei patented “clamshell” with two displays

A couple of months ago we wrote that Huawei patented a clamshell with a design similar to the Galaxy Z Flip. Now the network has schematic images of another similar device of the company.

What is known

The new patent was shared by the Tigermobiles portal. It was registered with the Chinese Bureau CNIPA (China National Intellectual Property Administration). The prototype smartphone has a dual camera and two displays. The first is the main one without cutouts and holes, and the second is additional. It’s much larger than the Galaxy Z Flip. Perhaps the size of this display is comparable to a 2.7-inch external OLED screen Motorola RAZR 5G.

Unfortunately, there are no new specifications yet. Considering that these are just patents, such a smartphone may not appear on the market at all.

Recall that yesterday, Huawei held an event at which it presented many new products: smartphones Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro +, Porsche Design Mate 40 RS, Mate 30E Pro 5G, smart watch Watch GT 2 Porsche Design, FreeBuds Studio on-ear headphones, Huawei Sound smart speaker and many accessories.
