Huawei has begun rolling out a stable version of the EMUI 11 shell for some of its flagship smartphones, and now it’s turn to foldable.

What is known

We are talking about the Huawei Mate Xs model. An update for the smartphone has been released in China. The system received a build number 11.0.0.146 and large list of changes. For example, the developers have updated Always-on Display (AOD) mode, as well as added synchronization of system sounds and vibrations, animated icons, Smart Multi-Window function that allows you to minimize applications to windows and hide them in a special side menu and new proprietary programs. Also in EMUI 11, we updated the Celia voice assistant, improved security and much more.

When to wait in the global market

Unfortunately, in the global market, you shouldn’t expect firmware this year. According to the official Huawei roadmap, the smartphone is planned to be updated outside of China to EMUI 11 only in January 2021.
