For a long time, Eva did not work and was engaged in raising two daughters.
Six years ago, Eva Mendes gave birth to her second daughter and paused her acting career. She last appeared on screens in 2014 in her husband Ryan Gosling’s directorial debut, How to Catch a Monster.
All this time, Eva has been busy with her family and children, but now she is again ready to return to work. In a new interview with the Sydney Morning Herald, Mendes noted that her children have grown up and her acting ambitions have begun to return.
Ambitions have not gone anywhere, they just transferred to children for a while. I applaud moms who can combine motherhood and work, but I’m not like that. Thank God I have the opportunity not to work, I understand how lucky I am. I am very glad that I could be with the children all this time. But they have grown up, one is already 4, the other is 6, and I feel that my ambitions are returning,
– shared Eva.
Also in an interview, she told how she and Ryan cope with raising their daughters.
Sometimes it seems that we are working in a hotel where drunk and aggressive guests constantly come. They get angry, command, demand to bring them food. And then they go to bed, and we stay to clean up and discuss how they treated us. But now all parents are not easy. We remind ourselves that this is actually a good time because we are together and safe,
– said the star.
