Former light heavyweight champion Sergei Kovalev may have his next fight before the end of 2020. The manager of the Russian boxer Egis Klimas announced this on his Instagram page.
“It’s so exciting to be back in the ring again. If everything works out as planned, we can return before the end of this year. Go ahead,” Crusher, “wrote Egis Klimas.

Recall that Kovalev fought his last fight in November last year. Then he was knocked out in the 11th round by the star Mexican Saul Alvarez, who for the sake of this fight climbed two weight categories. In this confrontation, Kovalev lost the WBO champion title.
