The promoter of the heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, Eddie Hearn, is confident that his ward will pass both challenger Kubrat Pulev and WBC champion Tyson Fury without problems.
The Joshua-Pulev fight is set to take place on December 12 and if the Briton wins, he could face Fury next year. Fury himself is not up to the prospect of a fight with Joshua now, he will have a fight with an old opponent. And if nothing extraordinary happens, on December 19, Tyson Fury (30-0) – Deontay Wilder (42-1) will play. This is the third meeting of the fighters. The first fight in 2018 ended in a draw, and in the second, in early 2020, Fury confidently won.
Hearn admits that it won’t be easy to break Fury:
“This guy is an outstanding boxer and it will be difficult to do it, nevertheless, I know that Joshua will knock out both Pulev and Fury. Joshua is ready to spoil the statistics of these guys. And he has already demonstrated a lot of what he can do in the fight with Ruiz- junior “.
Recall that Anthony Joshua has not entered the ring since December 2019 after winning a difficult 12-round duel over Andy Ruiz.
