Devin Haney: “Lomachenko agrees to fight me, but his team is against”

Despite the fact that Devin Haney (24-0, 15 KOs) and Vasily Lomachenko (14-1, 10 KOs) have different rivals in the near future, the 21-year-old American boxer does not lose hope of entering the ring against the greatest fighter of our time.

So, in an interview with Sean Zittel of Fight Hype, WBC lightweight champion Haney said that Lomachenko finally noticed his activity on social networks and answered him. In support of his words, he showed a correspondence with the Ukrainian boxer on Instagram.

Answering Haney’s question about the possibility of organizing a fight, the champion wrote:

“Talk to my manager about it. I agree to fight each of you, but only in turns.”

Haney replied:

Lomachenko vs. Haney PPV $$$$$. I am available”.

Lomachenko:

“I’ll keep it on mind!”

According to Haney, Vasily is not against a fight with him, but his team does not support this idea. However, the American became cautious and said:

“I don’t want to say too much here, ruin the relationship and then there will definitely not be a fight. I’d better keep quiet, but I’ll do everything to make this match take place.”
