Devin Haney and Yuriorkis Gamboa weigh in 30 days before the fight


WBC lightweight champion (61.2 kg), American Devin Haney (24-0-0, 15 KO) and Cuban veteran Yuriorkis Gamboa (30-3-0, 18 KO) passed the mandatory WBC weigh-in 30 days before the fight.

According to the organization’s regulations, the weight of the fighters a month before the fight should not exceed 10% of the combat limit (135 pounds) and is 148.5 lbs (67.36 kg).

Surprisingly, Gamboa turned out to be harder, having risen to this division and showed on the scales 146 lbs (66.22 kg). Haney, famous for the fact that he drives decently, pulled only 143 lbs (64.86 kg).
