Rumer spoke to Will Smith’s wife on her candid talk show.
Rumer Willis recently attended Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Red Table Talks. They discussed the loss of innocence, and Rumer shared her story. According to her, everything did not happen the way she wanted. Rumer noted that she did not give consent to her partner, but she could not refuse him either.
I was 18 when I lost my virginity. I was worried about the shame that I had nothing for a long time. When this happened, of course, it was not violence … But I did not consent. Overall, I was not particularly happy. But I didn’t say no either. I just let it all happen
– shared the daughter of Demi and Bruce.
She believes that in such situations, when a girl hesitates, a man should be more responsible.
He was older than me, took advantage of his advantage, but was not convinced that I wanted it. It seems to me that the responsibility lies with the man. No means no, but what if you can’t say no?
– noted Rumer.
Willis, 32, also described how she looked at her attractiveness in her youth:
At some point, I began to think that if someone considers me sexy, feels a desire for me, then he seems to have a right to me. When I was 14, many wrote about how I looked, how my face looked, and I was ashamed. And I thought, okay, if someone thinks I’m sexy, then I’m worth something.
