British heavyweight champion David Allen (18-5-2, 15 KO) needs a new challenger for his next performance, scheduled for October 31st.
Let us remind you that initially the fighter had to face off in a 10-round battle with the experienced German Christian Hammer (25-6-0, 15 KO).
“Christian Hammer has tested positive for COVID-19 and is eliminated from the fight with Dave Allen on the Chisora-Usyk undercard. Allen’s new rival will soon establish itself,” promoter Matchroom Boxing said on social media.
Allen hasn’t played since February, when he knocked out obscure compatriot Dorian Darch (12-12-1) in the 3rd round, closing the defeat to David Price (25-7-0, 20 KO).
