Carl Frampton: “It’s time to become a champion in three weights”

Former world champion in two weight categories, Briton Carl Frampton (28-2-0, 16 KO) commented on social networks the decision of the World Boxing Organization (WBO) to approve his fight with the title holder in the second featherweight (up to 59 kg), American Jamel Herring (22-2-0, 10 KO).

“I just got the good news, which I have been waiting for. I will fight the champion Jamel Herring before the end of this year. Thanks to MTK and WBO for making this possible. It’s time to become a champion in three weights,” the fighter wrote on his Instagram.
