Bob Arum said that there was an opportunity to avoid promotions for the fight Teofimo Lopez – George Kamposos

The head of the Top Rank promotion company said that it was possible to avoid a promotional bidding and reach an agreement on the organization of a duel between the undisputed world lightweight champion American Teofimo Lopez and the IBF mandatory challenger Australian George Cambosos.

“As you know, now the IBF has set a date for the promotion auction. We are optimistic and hope that we can reach an agreement earlier, before submitting an application. If not, we will go to the auction. Now everyone is trying to benefit from this situation, as a result, everything has turned into a mess, but I think we can deal with it. Yesterday I got a call from one of the leaders of the Kambosos team and said that they want to solve this problem, ”said Arum.

We will remind, earlier it became known that the International Boxing Federation (IBF) set the date of the promotional bidding for the fight between Lopez and Kambosos on February 18th.
