Anthony Kroll: “I don’t think anyone in boxing has such good legs as Lomachenko.”

Former rival of WBA, WBO and WBC Franchise lightweight champion Vasily Lomachenko Anthony Kroll praised the Ukrainian boxer ahead of his fight against IBF title holder Teofimo Lopez.

“It was very difficult to arrange correct sparring. We invited a number of sparring partners, three of them had to try to copy Lomachenko. However, it is almost impossible to find someone like him.

I don’t think that anyone in boxing has such good legs as Lomachenko. It’s very difficult to read the punches he likes to throw. Lomachenko is very special. I should have fought him, not tried to box, but we did not expect him to be so aggressive.

Lomachenko is a balanced fighter. I was surprised by several things when I fought him. He was not the toughest one hit puncher or the strongest puncher I have fought, but he would shoot light punches and then throw hard ones. He used punches sparingly and felt the distance perfectly. He made me fail and pay the price, “Anthony Kroll told ESPN.
